Hole 16, Par 4 Index: 18

Supposedly the easiest hole on the course, this is also the shortest of the par fours but not to be taken lightly. From the teebox, the fairway slopes onto a gentle valley which is not as wide as you would have preferred. A bunker in the middle of the green has to be avoided by the long hitter. The average golfer will find that laying before this bunker can bring in the rewards. The 16th has an exceptionally difficult green with hollows and contours. This is the start to Horizon’s answer to Amen Corner with really long hitters tempted to go for the green in one.
