Food & Beverages Outlets

There are several factors that combine into making dining out a variable experience: the guests, the service, a lively menu, quality of food and of course pricing. Within such a short time, Horizon Hills Golf & Country Club established itself not just as an important golf venue but boasting F&B outlets with delectable delights.

Horizon Hills has four outlets to serve golfers and members of the public who might stop by just for a meal or with a larger group to celebrate a wedding, attend a conference or enjoy a children’s party by the pool. With its growing image of being one of the best golf clubs in the southern peninsular it comes as no surprise that the management and staff are concerned about improving the quality of service and providing menus that will constantly tease the palate.

Golfers’ Terrace

Say hello to the Golfers’ Terrace. Here the staff at The Terrace are always on standby to serve golfers rushing for a quick meal before teeing off and for those wishing to relax and unwind after five grueling hours on the fairways and greens. Because of its unique location within the Iskandar Development Region, Horizon Hills has become a favorite with the residents and even among corporates who have found that dining here during lunch is more than just an in-thing – this outlet has a wide variety of mouth-watering dishes of the highest quality.

You wouldn’t expect such a diverse offering like Cornish Pie, Baked Tortilla Lasagne with Tuna, Tandoori Lamb on Skewer, Quail Baklava or Thin Crust Beef Sashimi Pizza available at Horizon Hills. Local favorites like Mee Rebus, Baked Pasta, Indonesian Seafood Curry, Cucur Udang Prawn Fritters and the highly-recommended Ox-tail Soup have become popular among regular golfers here.

One of the biggest factors that have contributed to The Terrace’s popularity is its unique design. While dining or simply enjoying a cup of cappuccino, you get stunning views of the 10th and 18th holes on one side of The Terrace, and the 1st and 9th holes on the other. The Terrace is simple yet unique in style with a great view and breezy ambience. And the food elegant and divine. Award-winning stuff!

Cathay Chinese Restaurant

There is a certain charm about the Cathay Chinese Restaurant. Also located on Level 1 as is The Terrace but on the opposite end of the elongated clubhouse, the first thing that strikes you is the magnificent view of the 9th hole and the practice area below. The whole left side of this restaurant is glassed, providing an edge to restaurants in other clubs.

The Cathay is fast making a name for itself as a popular venue for wedding dinners and lunches. Their menus range from RM498++ to RM998++ per table. The top-of-the-range menu includes succulent dishes as Double Boiled Dry Seafood with whole Chicken in Ginseng Soup, Braised Whole Baby Abalone and Black Mushrooms with Greens, Steamed Pomfret Kampung Style, Yuan Yang King Prawns and Saute Fresh Scallops with Garlic Sauce served in Bird’s Nest.
The Cathay does have a broader menu serving hearty meals and a useful wine list.
